The P&L Calendar provides a visual calendar of your daily trading results. It aggregates realized P&L from closed trades on each day.
Supported Accounts
The calendar works with MT4 and MT5 accounts only. TradeLocker analytics are not available yet.
Calendar View
The main view is a full-screen monthly calendar. Each day cell is color-coded:
- Green - profitable day
- Red - losing day
- Gray - no trades executed
The color intensity reflects the magnitude of profit or loss, making it easy to spot your best and worst days at a glance.
Month Navigation
Use the Previous and Next month buttons to browse through your trading history. Click Today to jump back to the current month. The calendar header shows the current month and year along with the date range being viewed.
Daily Trade Breakdown Side Panel
Click on any day to open the side panel on the right side of the screen with a detailed breakdown:
Summary Cards
Individual Trade List
Each trade in the list shows:
- Trade type badge - BUY (green) or SELL (red)
- Symbol - instrument traded
- Close time - time the trade was closed
- Lot size - volume traded
- Close price - exit price
- P/L - profit or loss per trade (green/red with +/- prefix)
Close the side panel by clicking the X button or clicking the backdrop.
Yearly P&L Heatmap
Below the calendar, a heatmap shows your entire year at a glance. Each cell represents a single day, arranged in a continuous grid (similar to GitHub contribution graphs). Color coding follows the same convention:
- Green for profit, red for loss, gray for no activity
The heatmap is useful for identifying:
- Seasonal patterns (certain months consistently more profitable)
- Streaks of consecutive winning or losing days
- Overall annual performance at a glance
Account Filter
Use the account dropdown in the header to filter the calendar and heatmap to a specific connected account. The dropdown also includes an “All Accounts” option (note: multi-account analytics is not yet fully supported for calendar views).
Refresh
Click the Refresh button to force a data reload.
How P&L is Calculated
The calendar aggregates realized P&L only. Open trades are excluded from the daily totals. Each day’s P&L is the sum of all closed trades on that date.
