Managing Accounts

How to manage your connected trading accounts - view, monitor, edit, delete, and track account status.

Once you’ve connected your trading accounts, you can manage them from the Accounts page in your dashboard.

Viewing Your Accounts

Go to the Accounts page. You can switch between two layouts:

Card View

Card View

Each account is displayed as a card showing:

  • Header: Platform logo, account number, DEMO/LIVE badge, and ping latency
  • Account Name: Your custom label
  • Broker Name: The broker the account belongs to
  • Equity: Real-time equity
  • Balance: Current balance
  • P&L: Unrealized profit/loss (green for profit, red for loss)
  • Margin Level: Health indicator (green/yellow/red)
  • Free Margin: Available margin for new positions
  • Positions: Count of open positions

List View

List View

A compact row-based format showing the same key metrics in a horizontal layout.

Your view preference is saved automatically and persists across sessions.

Account Status Indicators

Indicator Meaning
Green dot Account is connected and receiving live data
No dot Account is not connected
DEMO badge (yellow) Demo account
LIVE badge (green) Live account
Ping indicator (green/yellow/red) Latency to broker server

Account Actions

Hover over an account card and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner:

  • Open in Terminal - Navigate to the Terminal page with this account pre-selected
  • Refresh - Force a data refresh
  • Edit Name - Change the account’s display name
  • Delete - Remove the account from Trade Wzrd

Deleting an account removes it from Trade Wzrd. It does not affect your actual broker account or any open positions. Any active webhooks or copy rooms linked to this account will stop working for that account.

Monitoring Connection Health

If a connection drops:

  1. The green dot disappears from the account card
  2. Real-time data stops updating
  3. The system will attempt to reconnect automatically

To manually reconnect, click the Refresh action from the account menu. If reconnection fails, you may need to delete and re-add the account with updated credentials.

Account Limits by Plan

The Connect Account modal displays your current plan’s account usage with a progress bar. A warning appears when you’re at your limit, with a link to upgrade.

Best Practices

  • Test new strategies on demo accounts first
  • Monitor ping latency - high latency can affect trade execution speed
  • Remove accounts you’re no longer using to free up slots
  • Use the “Open in Terminal” action to quickly switch between accounts
  • Keep account names descriptive (e.g., “IC Markets Demo - EUR Strategy”)
