Connecting an Account
MT4 / MT5

Go to Accounts page
Click “Accounts” in sidebar

Click 'Connect Account'
Button in top-right corner

Select platform
Choose MT4 or MT5

Fill in details
Required fields:
- Account Name: Display name (e.g., “My IC Markets Demo”)
- Broker Name: Broker company name (e.g., “IC Markets”)
- Server: Broker server (e.g.,
ICMarkets-Demo01) - Account Number: Your login ID (just numbers)
- Password: Your account password
- Is Demo: Check if demo account

Click 'Connect'
✅ Account appears in list with “Connected” statusTakes: 5-10 seconds to establish connection

Go to Accounts page
Click “Accounts” in sidebar

Select TradeLocker platform

Fill in details
Required:
- Account Name: Display name
- Email: TradeLocker login email
- Password: TradeLocker password
- Server: Server URL (provided by broker)
- Environment: “demo” or “live”

Search for your broker
Start typing your broker name (e.g., “Exness”, “IC Markets”)Results appear instantly as you type

See available servers
Each broker shows all available trading serversClick the expand arrow to see access points

View real-time latency
Each access point shows live ping time:
- 🟢 Green (< 100ms) — Excellent connection
- 🟡 Yellow (100-200ms) — Good connection
- 🔴 Red (> 200ms) — Slow connection

Select optimal server
Click the access point with lowest latency✅ Server auto-fills in form
Account Status
Color-coded for quick identification:| Status | Icon | What it means | Action |

Managing Accounts
Reconnect Account
If account shows “Disconnected”:- Click “Reconnect” button on account card
- System re-establishes connection
- Status changes to “Connected” (5-10 seconds)
- Broker server maintenance
- Password changed in MT4/MT5
- Internet connection issue
- Account suspended by broker
Edit Account
Change account details:- Click account card
- Click “Edit” button
- Update fields (name, password, etc.)
- Click “Save”
Delete Account
Permanently remove account:- Click account card
- Click “Delete” button
- Confirm deletion
Account Details
Click any account card to see:- Balance: Current account balance
- Equity: Balance + floating P&L
- Margin: Used margin for open positions
- Free Margin: Available for new positions
- Open Positions: Count of active trades
- Platform: MT4/MT5/TradeLocker
- Broker: Broker company name
- Account Number: Login ID
Using Accounts
In Terminal
- Open Terminal page
- Select account from dropdown (top-left)
- Start trading on that account
In Automation
- Create webhook
- Select which account(s) receive signals
- Webhook executes trades on selected accounts
In Copy Trading
Accounts can be:- Sender — Broadcasts trades to receivers
- Receiver — Copies trades from sender
- Both — One account can be sender in one room, receiver in another
Demo vs Live Accounts

Troubleshooting
Can't connect - 'Invalid credentials'

Check these:✅ Account number is correct (no spaces/letters)
✅ Password is correct (case-sensitive)
✅ Server name matches broker exactly
✅ Account is active (not suspended)Test: Try logging into MT4/MT5 desktop with same credentials.
Account keeps disconnecting

Reasons:
- Broker server issues (check broker status page)
- Password changed (update in TradeWzrd)
- Connection limit (some brokers limit API connections)
- Network instability (check your internet)

TradeLocker won't connect
TradeLocker requires API access:
- Not all brokers support it
- Check broker’s documentation
- Some brokers require API access to be enabled first
