Management & Troubleshooting

Keep your copy trading running smoothly.

Managing Rooms

Pausing a Room

You can pause an entire room to stop all copying activity immediately.
  1. Go to Copy Trading.
  2. Toggle the Active switch on the room card to Off.
  3. Result: No new trades will be copied to ANY receiver. Existing trades remain open.

Deleting a Room

Danger Zone: Deleting a room is permanent. All receiver configurations and history for that room will be lost.
  1. Open the room.
  2. Click “Delete Room” at the bottom of the settings.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Checklist:
  1. Is the Room Active? Check the toggle.
  2. Is the Receiver Active? Check the toggle next to the receiver.
  3. Are both accounts connected? Check the Accounts page for green status.
  4. Is the symbol correct? Does the receiver need Symbol Mapping?
Check your Copy Mode:
  • If you see 0.01 lots every time, you are likely on Fixed Lots.
  • If you see weird sizes like 0.37, you are likely on Risk Percent.
Fix: Edit the receiver settings to change the mode.
Note: Partial closes are copied as a percentage of the current position.
  • If Sender closes 50% of a 1.0 lot trade.
  • Receiver will close 50% of their own position size.
If the receiver’s position is too small (e.g., 0.01 lots), it might not be possible to partially close it (broker minimums).
TradeWzrd typically copies in under 300ms.Factors affecting speed:
  • Broker Server Location: Cross-broker latency (e.g., London to New York).
  • Market Volatility: High slippage periods.
  • Demo Accounts: Demo servers are often slower than live servers.

Best Practices

✅ Do

  • Test on Demo: Always run a new setup on demo accounts for at least 24 hours.
  • Use Risk Percent: It’s the safest way to manage risk across different account sizes.
  • Monitor Connections: Ensure your accounts stay connected (update passwords if changed).

❌ Don’t

  • Don’t loop copies: Never set Account A to copy Account B, and Account B to copy Account A. This creates an infinite loop.
  • Don’t ignore errors: If you see a red error icon, check it immediately. It usually means a symbol or margin issue.
