Placing Orders

Execute trades in \u003c1 second with one-click or full order forms. The Order Panel gives you two modes: Docked (quick BUY/SELL) and Expanded (full form with SL/TP).

Order Panel modes

Docked Mode (Default)

Compact sidebar with instant execution
  • Big BUY/SELL buttons (green/red)
  • Volume input (lots or risk %)
  • Optional SL/TP toggles
  • Click button → Instant execution
When to use: Fast scalping, quick entries, minimal clicking

Expanded Mode

Full order form with all options
  • Market vs Pending order type selector
  • Entry price (for pending orders)
  • Stop Loss & Take Profit inputs
  • Price vs Pips toggle
  • Slippage control
  • Order preview before execution
When to use: Complex orders, precise SL/TP, pending orders Toggle: Click “Expand” button in docked mode OR click any position to edit.

Market Orders (Instant Execution)

1. Basic Market Order

Select symbol

Use Market Panel to choose symbol (e.g., EURUSD)

Choose direction

Click BUY (green) or SELL (red) tab

Enter volume

Option A: Fixed lots (e.g., 0.1)Option B: Risk % — toggle “Use Risk” and enter 2 for 2% risk

Execute

Click big BUY or SELL button✅ Trade executes within 1 second
Result: Position opens at market price, appears in Positions Panel instantly.

2. Market Order with SL/TP

Enable SL/TP

Toggle SL and/or TP switches in Order Panel

Set prices

Auto-filled on enable:
  • SL: 0.05% away from entry (buy = below, sell = above)
  • TP: 0.05% away from entry (buy = above, sell = below)
Adjust as needed or enter your own prices

Choose Price vs Pips

PRICE: Enter absolute price levels (e.g., 1.0850)PIPS: Enter pip distance (e.g., 20 pips)Toggle with “TPSL Type” selector

Execute

Click BUY or SELL✅ Position opens with SL/TP already set
Calculate lot size automatically based on risk %

Toggle 'Use Risk'

Switch from “Volume (Lots)” to “Risk %”

Enter risk percentage

Example: 2 = Risk 2% of account balance

Enable Stop Loss

Required for risk calculationEnter SL distance in pips OR price

Execute

Click BUY or SELLSystem calculates exact lot size to risk 2% if SL is hit
Risk mode requires Stop Loss to calculate position size. If SL is disabled, risk % cannot be computed.
Example:
  • Account balance: $10,000
  • Risk: 2% = $200
  • SL distance: 20 pips
  • System calculates: 0.10 lots (exact size where 20 pips = $200 loss)

Pending Orders (Trigger at Specific Price)

Place orders that execute when price reaches your level

Placing a Pending Order

Expand Order Panel

Click “Expand” button (if in docked mode)

Switch to Pending mode

Toggle “Market” → “Pending”

Select order type

Choose from dropdown:
  • Buy Limit
  • Sell Limit
  • Buy Stop
  • Sell Stop

Enter trigger price

Entry Price field appearsEnter price where order should triggerExample: Current EURUSD = 1.0900, enter 1.0850 for Buy Limit

Set volume and SL/TP (optional)

Same as market orders — fixed lots OR risk %

Place order

Click “Place Order” button✅ Order appears in Pending tab of Positions Panel
When price hits your trigger: Order converts to active position automatically.

SL/TP Modes

PRICE Mode

Enter absolute price levels
  • Stop Loss: Exact price to close at loss (e.g., 1.0850)
  • Take Profit: Exact price to close at profit (e.g., 1.0950)
When to use: You know exact support/resistance levels

PIPS Mode

Enter pip distance from entry
  • Stop Loss: Pips below entry for BUY, above for SELL (e.g., 20)
  • Take Profit: Pips above entry for BUY, below for SELL (e.g., 50)
When to use: Fixed risk:reward ratio (e.g., always 20 SL, 40 TP) System handles conversion to absolute prices based on your broker’s pip value.

Order Execution Flow

  1. Click BUY/SELL → Toast notification “Placing Order”
  2. WebSocket sends signal to broker connector
  3. Broker executes (100-500ms depending on platform)
  4. Position appears in Positions Panel with ticket #
  5. Toast updates with execution price and lot size
Total time: Typically \u003c1 second from click to position.

Tips & Best Practices

Click volume input → Type → EnterNo need to click BUY/SELL button after typingShortcut: 0.1 → Enter → Executes immediately
Default values are 0.05% away
  • BUY SL: 0.05% below current price
  • BUY TP: 0.05% above current price
These are starter values — adjust to your strategy!
Enable in Settings → ‘Reset after order’Clears SL/TP, resets volume to default, collapses panel👉 Terminal Settings
Reduce position size OR add fundsCheck Account Info (top of Order Panel):
